Being kept on fine lees for six months, 50% in seasoned French barriques, has produced a wine with a textured mouthfeel, fine tannins and with cool climate acidity makes for a wine perfect for the warmer seasons.

A very refreshing, easy drinking style of Chardonnay. This wine is all about Chardonnay fruit. Stirring the wine during maturation has increased the mouthfeel of the wine. Lashings of apple, lemon/lime and stone fruit  combine into a silky wine that shows finesse, intensity and length. A wine that can be enjoyed equally with food or simply by itself.

A very fragrant, intense wine. On the nose, aromas of lemon/lime, grapefruit, cider apple, struck match and spice . A depth of fruit abounds which builds together with a vibrant, chalky, acidity.  There is a linear drive with a refreshing dry finish.

Deeply coloured, a highly fragrant perfumed bouquet of red berries, dark plum, cherry, savoury spice/umami  and forest, earthy notes. The palate has  fine tannins, a velvety dense texture  with an intense linear drive, power and length.

Alc 13.5%    

Bright medium dark crimson, a wine showing purity and elegance. Peppery and graphite aromas, raspberry, blackcurrant and violets merge with earthy, grassy and fragrant herbal notes. As the wine breathes, a more fuller generosity develops with chalky tannins and succulent flavours opening up. Aged in French barrels (15% new) for 14 months.
